I'm trying to make sense of the "surprise" Bank of Japan move tonight that tanked futures.
So they are allowing up to 1/2 point interest now on their 10 year. To me, this doesn't seem like that big of a deal. They're still the low rate destination in the world with everyone else much higher.
So why the big tank? Did this just become the black swan that could blow up someone's arbitrage trade?
