Among other things that means we have no right to complain about the Taliban mistreating their women, because we are supposedly no better than they are.

Same thing with Iran mistreating their citizens.

By the way, even the head of the FIFA World Cup said that Europe has no right to complain about Qatar's abuses of human rights, given that Europe has a 3,000-year history of similar abuses.
