Do a cost benefit analysis of a new car.. capital cost + financing cost + or opportunity cost if you are paying cash + extra insurance for the new car + maintenance cost of the current car etc. vs. expected additional mileage you might get etc. I bet that should cure you of going through the hassle of getting a new one.. Works for me.. However, I am sure I am getting to a point where I might have to one of these days.. My mileage is low but it is now 25 year old so maintenance is a bit of a head ache..
