I posted this before I believe, but based on a comparison of the time spent in a topping distribution and time taken to hit bottom would suggest that by mid to late March would be a time to start looking at a bottom if it stretched out that long.







If price continues to follow this structure, it would suggest that mid February would be another potential date to look for a bottom.



I am going to go out on a limb and say that we may still just be in the denial stage and are going to see a "return to normal phase next year.

In 2000 the SPX in blue put in a double top during the return to normal phase.





SPY one hour chart with gaps, there is still that gap cluster area that sits just above the Wycoff point and figure target.



Daily VIX



5 minutes chart shows a potential impulsive move down and we are seeing a correction.

Currently trading around that middle zone.
