Well Canada is a smaller "country" than California when measured by GDP... and most of our big cities are sanctuary cities. If you have money left over after paying a Coyote $4,000 to move you and your family across the US/Mexico border, then you can buy a broken down camper, park it on the street in the corner of Mountain View and Palo Alto and send your kids to school in the school near me.... in a city where recent legal immigrants pay $30,000 to $60,000 each year in property taxes to send their kids to the same school.
Partially true. Yes, our borders are more secure than the US. But no, plenty of Americans (and illegal American migrants) try to cross into Canada for the better healthcare and education.... That such notices exist means that we do have illegals and issues - we just deal with them differently.

I just got word from the city they are considering another bond issue to build another school that voters will probably approve to add even more to property taxes. They get the seniors to vote for it by offering us exemptions so of course seniors vote for it because if they don't get the money from suckers this way, they will reduce services or find another way to raise taxes.
