Burden of Desire- Robert MacNeil

Picked this one up because we are going to be stopping in Halifax in fall of '23 and I always like to read books about places we are going. I didn't know about the giant explosion during WWI in Halifax. Very interesting. Very well written- as you would expect from MacNeil. I recommend it. Read the first 10 pages- it gives you the flavor of the book. If you don't like them, you won't like the rest.
