This person was trying to anchor things to their offer, saying we kept moving the goalposts, etc.

Since the first year is a prove-it year, they have no idea they're going get hit up for a Gold Sponsorship of an event in 5-months they'll have to come through on or lose a potential for 4-years down the road. That will get me my perfect scenario price.

Then, 2-months before the end of the prove-it year, they're going to get hit up for guaranteed Silver Sponsorships for the next 4-years. That will get me my perfect price for the remaining years. She'll have to pay up, or we'll walk.

The snowflake has no idea what's going to be hitting her. We'll be basically paying less than we did in 2019 when adjusted for inflation.
