I said a few years ago that charities are the newest scam. Start a charity, pay yourself, family and friends HUGE salary, perks, etc and get rich.
There are very few good charities anymore. Most are disgusting scams.

EDIT - When discussing religions, don't forget the all seeing Spaghetti Monster!!!
