Man, MB, this market sure can be loony tunes. I continue to hold AMAT, and will do so for quite some time ( I rarely trade ), but even I cannot believe the analysts and markets response to latest guidance. You and I may disagree about how AMAT discloses their numbers(I feel they have always been honest), but I am now in your camp in disbelief at how nonchalent or even positive severe short-term warnings can be dismissed. As a long term holder I don't care one way or the other , but I can now see how "putters" lose their hair.
