We contracted covid at the end of a cruise/tour we took last Oct.

For two weeks, we were on buses and trolleys, at hotels and restaurants, and on planes and ships. Have no idea where we got it, but it spread to our son and his wife when they picked us up at the airport. it also spread to neighbors who, ironically, were on the same flight we were on returning to Seattle from NYC. I had no idea I had covid, and gave one of them a big hug when we discovered each other on the plane.

We both felt like we had the flu, and the weird thing is, each day we woke up with a different symptom. The longest lasting being a lingering cough which lasted about two weeks. We didn't feel sick enough to see a doc, and just toughed it out.

One thing I learned about covid..........it is HIGHLY contagious.

Good luck!

P.S. as an apology, we took the neighbors who contracted covid from us out to dinner a couple of weeks ago. We felt pretty bad about giving it to them.
