When Mountain Pass got sold out from under me... for all of $35,000... I looked next at the Idaho mine, which was also up for sale, back then. I judged it "worth it" but still a "pass" after evaluating risk vs reward vs time, and remoteness of location... the costs... more given the then current lack of support...

Next owners stayed too focused on the Sb for too long... but was obvious to me that you needed to ignore it to focus on finding and mining the gold... as a more stable market interest exists for Au to help insulate if from "markets." Midas got that bit right, at least.

And, with the name change to Perpetua and a lot of $ thrown at it ?

They're now in YEAR SIX of "environmental review"... but .gov just ponied up to help sustain and fund the next TWO YEARS of forced delay with zero real progress...

It should have been in production more than three years ago... but won't be for another... three, four, ???

Congress needs to act to outlaw the insanity of forcing new investors to pay upfront to fix others mistakes... and require those "fixes" will be funded from public $ or production revenues... only. Odds of that happening ? Probably zero... since that would actually work to solve problems that they don't want solved... ?

Reality beginning to impose itself on them more now... and still the preferred answer is to "throw money at it" instead of "quit being stupid and just get out of the way" ?

The U.S. has no shortage of minerals... just a massive surplus of economic illiterates...

Funny, though, how they're now deeming it allowable "essential"... to then... if only because their agenda depends on it and doesn't work at all without it... and not because it was always essential to the people in those regions... whose lives they been recklessly destroying for a generation ?

But, Jervois clearly going to win the race... has started mine development already... production b4 Q2
