Wharfie, I'm hearing rumors of a "category 5" storm, but I don't see that anywhere in the local news. I don't even know what that means outside of the context of an actual hurricane (or typhoon or whatever).

In any case, we're in for a heck of a ride. I hope I don't experience a blackout in my area, either at home or at work.

Good news is that, unlike last year where a single storm hit but then got followed by utter dryness, we're probably going to see consistent rain for the next 9-10 days or so.

P.S. - My office bathrooms were closed today because of a sewer backup. Once again, yuck ....
