Kornel Murawiecki had a PhD in quantum physics - but religiously and culturally, he was a Polish traditionalist. He wouldn’t want his country to be as woke as the US. But, had he been the president of Poland, he would be most respectful to Biden - and tried to keep relations as warm as possible, while trying to preserve traditional values.

Ditto for the Pope. He can’t go around refusing audiences to a POTUS and a Speaker. Even though his political thinking does seem a lot more ambiguous than Kornel M’s. In short, it’s… complicated.
