I'll give it a shot then.

I should be more clear that I find horror to be boring, repulsive, and ludicrous. I remember going to see The Exorcist and laughing my head off because it was so silly. I had to change seats at one point because some guy threatened to beat me up for guffawing while his girlfriend was sobbing with terror.

When I used to review movies for a local publication, I usually did the foreign/prestige movies, but for some reason at one point they sent me to review Scream. I was so bored it was hard to stay till the end and I accordingly gave it a very bad review. After that they kept me on my type of movies.
