Wharfie, there are a couple of sci-fi flicks where humans tried blocking out the sun for various reasons, only to have those plans backfire spectacularly. They are The Matrix and Snowpiercer. Although I realize there's a huge difference between sci-fi and reality, it's always interesting to see when sci-fi ends up being uncannily accurate. Tenchusatsu
