In the interest of looking each way, I replied to this SI Message - Value Thread with what I learned from my father. I have another 'directive' I learned from an uncle who was born in Mor, Hungary regarding "When I was young it sounded rubbish….as I got old it sounded wisdom" This uncle married Auntie Marie of the brownie recipe I posted earlier, he would say to me "Eat your darts!". I didn't understand it when I was young and I'm not sure it sounds like wisdom.

Edit: Dad said these more than once, "You want mooooooore?" and "Gotta eat."
