Russia is no real threat to the USA, they cannot even knock out their tiny neighbour to the south.
Are you kidding me? Ukraine is the largest country in all of Europe except Russia - and it had the largest, best armed and trained army in all of Europe - except for Russia.

The Russians - using a tiny part of their military potential - virtually decimated that army. Ukraine had to keep mobilizing and training people all along, needed great amounts of help from the US and Europe - and reconstituted their army by summer. And it’s again in trouble - even with many thousands of foreign volunteers fighting side to side with them.

A large proportion of NATO and US weaponry and ammo has been used up - and is lost.

It looks like now, after Russia mobilized additional hundreds of thousands - soon the U.S. and NATO will need to decide - whether to allow Ukraine to be totally defeated - or to send in their own troops into the insane meat-grinder which is now Eastern Ukraine.
