A poll was taken in 1900 of the biggest things most people worried about at the time... At the top of the list was the spread and risk of tuberculosis ending all life on the planet, the second most worrisome thing was that the population was increasing so rapidly that there wouldn't be enough food to go around... Today, neither of those two things are even on the list... Today the biggest worry is global warming... In another 100 years the fear of global warming won't even be on the list... First it was global cooling... Then the trees were dying... Then the oceans were evaporating... Then there were too many trees... Then the ice caps are melting and the oceans will flood the earth... Then the ozone layer is disappearing... Then there's global warming... And now there's too much carbon in the atmosphere... In another year or so there will be some other asinine nonsense... The lunacy never ends... GZ
