X-ray man, it was complicated as MSFT also had a licence from Xerox, but it was long ago, far far away .... However it was the impetus for Apple to try and get proprietary that signalled the beginning of the end for Apple. From that point the decline started. Apple clearly had no rights to xerox tech that any other company could not also get. No exclusive rights. Bill
