I just read the private blog on Russia. I agree that we are instigating the war but the last thing you wrote is that Putin has taken the bait. What actions represent him "taking the bait"and what would you suggest he do?
I am trying to put myself in Putin's shoes and ask myself, what would I do? I am not sure what I could do.
Putin has tried to talk to the Biden Administration and the EU and has gotten nowhere. He now realized they negotiated in bad faith.
He is whittling wartime resources in this prolonged attack. He could go on the offensive (special forces attempt at Zelensky, tactical nukes) but that would be used by Western media to confirm Putin as the evil villain.
So what can he do?
I still wish there was something we can do as citizens to prevent our money being wasted there.

ANSWER: By taking the "bait" I am afraid he never anticipated that the West wanted war and that the objective was the destruction of Russia. It seems that these people assume that neither side would use nuclear weapons. However, I think that is a very serious misjudgment. If Russia is pushed into a corner, it will use the nuclear option. Better to take down the enemy if you are on your last leg. Putin understands strategy. He pointed out in his conversation with Macron of France that you need not nuke a major city. In the case of Japan, that would have been Tokyo where the Emperor was. You needed him to surrender. They took out two key cities where the production for war was taking place.
The ONLY possible way to make the world see and cause the people to rise up against their own governments to stop this insanity is to NUKE Kyiv. There is no other way but to take out the capitol in this case and cut off the head of the snake because that is merely a hydra - one of three heads so Europe will squeal like a pig and seek peace while the US will want blood. Some believe that would lead to nuclear retaliation from the West. Our military will refuse.
After discussions with Putin, Macron came out and said that France would NOT respond with nuclear weapons against Russia if it NUKED Kyiv. Macron is perhaps the only sensible leader in France and I am not a fan of Macron, but I have to be impartial. I believe that the gamble would be to nuke Kyiv or a peripheral city as the US did to Japan as a demonstration and hope that the Ukrainian people wake the hell up and overthrow Zelenskyy who should be charged with war crimes and massive corruption. He is the modern-day traitor selling his country out for a handful of silver.
It will take a bold move like that to demonstrate to the entire world and ask: Is this what you really want? Europe would then fold and that is the only way to bring them to their senses. There is no peace with Ukraine possible anyway. The hatred is way too systemic. Negotiations are clearly a fool's game as the West and Ukraine showed by the deliberate fake negation to buy time with the fake Minsk Agreement.
There may be no other way to stop this insanity but to do a serious nuclear demonstration. Putin has armed a ship with hypersonic missiles and there is no defense against that.
When we look at Taiwan, the two key targets are again in January and May with a Panic Cycle in June. The way to defeat the United States is to launch a coordinated assault. China moves on Taiwan in May, North Korea moves against the South, Iran launches against Saudi Arabia, and Ukraine becomes a nuclear test site. I am afraid if I were on the other side, that is what I would do and this would shut down the Biden Administration as well as the insanity in London.
Hence - my concern is that Putin could be replaced with real hardliners - Russia's Neocons who also cannot sleep at night because their counterparts, American Neocons, will not relent.
Nobody will stop this agenda and the media is too busy selling war. This reminds me of Pultizer v Hersh. What media could start a war bigger and faster?

We must be mindful that January is also the strongest target for the Russian Ruble this year. While Putin declared a cease-fire for Orthodox Christmas, Zelensky said no and that this is hypocritical. Zelensky is just an actor. That is why he dresses as if he is in the army rather than a head of state. He is no more fighting for democracy than Castro did in Cuba. Upon his return from the United States, his instructions were to shut down all free press.
This is all a dog and pony show because the real agenda is the West desperately needs a war to justify defaulting on all national debts and surface with Bretton Woods II and to create a new reserve currency which they intend to be the IMF digital coin. The FTX scam was an elaborate money laundering deal where Ukraine funded the Democrats for the mid-terms. SBF has plead not guilty and you will see there will NEVER be a trial in this case. OMG, then the money laundering would be exposed!
Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev has called for supersonic missiles to be on a ship 100 miles off the coast of the USA pointed at Washington. Perhaps that would be the only way to end the corruption in that city. It is an interesting press tactic for in war, the one thing you do not do is cut the head of the snake off for someone has to be there to tell the rest to stop fighting. But this is an interesting threat that is reminiscent of the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis. BTW, that too lined up with the start of the War Cycle in 2014 as we would begin a new one from there. We find that Medvedev is so far the #1 candidate to succeed Putin who is not shy with his threats and has flown to China to meet with Xi who is technically above his rank, which says a lot.
The US has no defense against the Hypersonic missiles. The Biden Administration is being driven by Neocons and Climate Change Zealots and they really think that they can use Ukrainians to the last person then send in the Polish and then NATO can just walk into Russia and it will be game over. My sources are very good. Medvedev fully understands the game here. This is why he has come out right on the turning point of January 3rd, 2023 talking about hypersonic missiles pointed at Moscow. Problem is, the real power players will leave and let DC be attacked as was the case with Pearl Harbor.
They deliberately used the Minsk Agreement in BAD FAITH to fool Putin while Ukraine built up its army. Then VP Harris at the Munich Security Council boldly said that Ukraine should join NATO on February 20th, 2022. Then Zelensky stood up on the 23rd and said Ukraine would rearm itself with nuclear weapons. Putin was then compelled to protect the Donbas on the 24th.
FDR froze all Japanese assets because they invaded China. He then cut off all energy supplies, then threatened to blockade Japan from getting any energy from any other place. He broke their military code and knew they would attack Pearl Harbor so he could claim it was a Day in Infamy as an unprovoked attack. He tried to get the US into WWII but the people refused and Congress would not declare an act of war. So he did what he could to force Japan to attack. They have done the very same tactic with Putin. He took the bait.
