SSL, GOT

Far too late, I ditched the last of my Sandstorm Gold aka SSL. I once had a large number of shares and warrants, and overall have managed to come out slightly ahead, but the self-sefrving management has driven me away. Most of the money went into lithium stocks ALLI but I still have some to buy into a gold company too. I am still contemplating my options.

I have long complained about how Goliath Resources aka GOT trades, and it has happened again. They released a long PR containing assays from a bunch more holes in the Surebet and nearby zones on their Golddigger prospect in BC's Golden Triangle. It looked pretty good to me, with a number of decent to excellent intersections within the 1.6 sq km Surebet Zone, plus the declaration of a Surebet Corridor 8 km long and 3500m wide which they say contains any number of prospects which will be followed up during their 2023 drill programme.

The result? Alas, a swirly, down over 13% on big volume. Maybe the third parties that have used GOT stock as a pump and dump in the past are setting it up for another run.

The IKN newsletter this weekend included an interesting analysis of how gold has rallied 15% since the November low without any involvement by the large institutions that power these types of moves, raising the possibility of a really big move upward if/when that negative sentiment shofts, but to read the details of the argument, you'll have to subscribe.

And Saville remains convinced that gold will go much higher this year, albeit with a slight possibility of a preceding test of support.
