The time the oral argument took is not particularly significant. It
does not vary widely from case to case. The court allots a specified time(usually 15 mins each side in Fed. court) for argument and in general all the cases are handled that way. In particularly complex cases a party may request (in advance) extended argument time, but this is very much the exception to the rule. So the fact that Fonar had 15 mins of argument time really means nothing at all; it doesn't suggest anything good or bad, or indicate the level of preparedness of the appellate panel.

What really matters is the quality of Fonar's case and, as they say,
the jury's out on that.

My expectation (rank opinion, I haven't even read the briefs) is that they will kick GE's a**! The odds are with me since substantially more cases are upheld than reversed on appeal.
