>>>I agree Cramer is a (rather likeable) wacko. However, when you think about it, he was actually not that far off with his ASND analysis. Back when ASND was below $30 and dropping, he was pretty bearish on it. That was when all the earnings uncertainty, ASIAN uncertainty, and so on existed.<<<

What I don't like, is that Cramer waffles on his opinions more than a politician. When ASND was dropping like a rock, and over 20 analysts downgraded the stock to neutral, underperform, or sell, it was so easy to come out and be bearish on a stock. When not an institution in sight would touch an ASND share, it sure was easy to find 101 things wrong with the company.

>>>Cramer avoided the big drop (and 10 point jump). However, if ASND does as well as we're all hoping, he doesn't look that bad for paying a $10 penalty for all the upside we got coming.<<<

That's another thing...I bet you Cramer was wise enough to have begun accumulating oversold ASND shares in the low to mid-20's, long before he mentioned publicly that he would consider ASND a good buy in the 30's, after having been bearish the company for 6 months and sworn off the stock as an investment. I seriously doubt he missed the ride from 22 to 33.

Recall his views on CSCO since late last Summer. For months, he was pounding the table on CSCO as a 5-yr investment where you could never go wrong if you never sold...even up to the day before he announced on CNBC that he had dumped his position in light of CSCO being overvalued. Which means he had been unloading his shares over the previous few days (at least), all the while talking the company up. The morning he opened up his big mouth (safely out of CSCO, mind you), the stock began a 3 day descent of almost 20 points.

I don't believe Cramer has anywhere near the influence on the Street to move the stocks of such large companies, so he should have the courage to publicize his opinions/analysis (since he insists on doing so) when he comes to those conclusions...not after-the-fact. What good is yesterday's weather forecast?

Cramer sings to the same tune as the rest of Wall Street's aristocracy, only he drinks way too much coffee and is far more vocal.
