I didn't know Zelensky had promised all that. Why would he accept anything but? If he was told by his armed supporters, [be they American or Ukrainian] "Do as we say and break your promise or it's game over" he should have refused their instructions and resigned. He could have accepted the American offer of a taxi out of there instead of asking for ammunition. If he was a swindling lying corrupt crook, promising hope and delivering death while being paid mega$bucks, then he deserves what he gets.
I have no idea why Ukrainians want to fight for the criminals in Kiev to keep laundering US giga$bucks in bitcoin and kickbacks to Americans. A Ukrainian I know of in Londonistan left his family and went back to Ukraine to join the fighting. Baffled me. Our grandson's best friend's father. Tragic.
Like so many people, I suppose he was ill-informed, believed the lies and thought he was doing his heroic homeland-defending manly duty.
Most people are simple-minded ignorant credulous useful idiots. They believe the propaganda. Our local newspaper is full of letters to the editor, sure of themselves despite their obvious ignorance, repeating the propaganda as though it's their own thinking. But it's just the cliches and slogans, lies and bullshit.
The Russia Russia Russia stuff. Over and over and over. Try to explain things to them and their hearing receptors switch off. No reasoning. No understanding. No thinking. It's fascinating. And very easy to see how the march to WWI calamitously catastrophic cataclysm got going. And then to WWII. And on to WWIII now preparing to go MAD because the Americans, Jacinda, Pommy Bastards, Krauts and Euroserfs in general are in full-blown insanity group-think.
