I think the fx is completely governed by interest rate differences. Tamer inflation in the US translates into shrinking futures interest rate difference between US and Europe, so the dollar index drops. So, as we approach the end of hiking cycle, but others don’t, the dollar will drop. Inflation does not seem to be directly tied to fx rates, there will be more drop as he global economy goes into recession.
