TO ALL;
Bill Seidmann on CNBC just sounded an alarm on y2k.
All banks may not be y2k ready. Some have not even have addressed
problem. Ron Ansana raised the "R' possibility. Seidmann said a slight
possibility, but he expects problem to be contained. Regulators on their backs,
but expects some gliches.
This guy is one of the most knowledgeable bankers in the world. I
wonder what he thinks about the status of y2k readiness in Asia and the EMU?
SYNT,TPRO and ALYD plus all the rest of this industry have to make
out well. Watch for buyouts of these small niche players, and others.
