Disagree.

Even without any video showing Macron smirking and sneering at Putin as he discusses Minsk Agreements, the fact remains that the Agreements were never fully implemented, especially the 2015 version. That really cannot be disputed.

So ski points out a video which can reasonably be interpreted as showing Macron’s bad faith in entering into the Agreements. Big deal, the video is a very small point, hardly worth a response. Certainly not worth creating a dumpster fire about.

The appropriate response, should anyone disagree with the premise, is to show that the Minsk Agreements were real, and entered into in good faith. And that Russia was responsible for the failure. And that Macron was sneering at Putin on account of Putin’s hypocrisy.

The 2015 Agreement mentioned by Putin in his speech called for elections in Donetsk and Lugansk, which never took place. Why is worth debating, instead of insulting someone who has thus far always politely expressed himself.

The 2015 deal also called for Ukraine to be neutral, not a NATO cat’s paw.

In my own personal opinion, ski has the better side of the argument, but your mileage may vary.
