Jawohl, mein herr Tuna!

Ve ist prescibink der Axis mit der MUSE. Aber zu viel patients denke es sind wie so ein "cock ring". LOL

Yes, the Actis band is just an elastic compression ring that increases the effectiveness by reducing blood outflow, and retaining the drug locally. Not a big money maker and hardly patentable for VVUS but spares the patient from having to get it at an adult "novelty" store. Patients with ED who have used the vacuum pump, have these rings already. They are essential to the pump procedure.

They did call it "Axis" at first but found in phase II trials that the participants developed the side effect of having an uncontrollable desire to invade Poland.

So they changed the name to Actis.

P.S. The video tape goes home with every patient, it is very short and clear about how to use the product to maximum effect and gives the toll-free number for the phone assistance. I never prescribed MUSE for my patents until I had the videotape to give to the patient. I am a tremendous fanatic on patient education. In fact a year ago, a national publication did a feature story on my practice because of our low hospital admission rate for Medicare patients, education is the difference. As you have seen published, the efficacy of MUSE is directly proportional to the patient education efforts
