I agree with your fundamental points. The stock price gyrations scare me even more.

Not too long ago, UAN was worth $38 a share. Last year it spiked to $179, and now it’s a tad over $100. I would not be at all surprised if the price is $50 a year from now. So if I buy today and get $35 in dividends this year, I would still be out $15. Way too much uncertainty for me to have any interest whatsoever.
