Green Oasis Environmental, Inc. Is Issued Manufacturing Approval
CHARLESTON, S.C., Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Green Oasis Environmental, Inc. (OTC: GRNO) announced today that the Bureau of Air Quality of the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control ("DHEC") has determined that the Company will not need a construction permit in order to construct a proposed manufacturing facility in Charleston, S.C. for the assembly, fabrication and painting of distillation units. DHEC's decision was communicated to the Company in a letter dated February 2, 1998, in response to the Company's permitting determination submittal of December 1, 1997. DHEC indicated in its letter that the Company will be required to maintain certain records in connection with its manufacturing activities.
The Company has no firm orders or deposits for the manufacture of distillation plants, but is in discussions with various potential customers domestically and internationally.
William D. Carraway, President of the Company, stated, "Now that the Charleston, South Carolina plant is fully permitted and operational, we are in a position to pursue our first commercial sale. We expect that we will be able to meet our short- and long-time term manufacturing the fabrication needs at this site."
The Company's patent-pending process is designed to produce marketable fuels from waste oils in a closed-cycle, one-step process. The Company manufactures for its own use and also markets to others. |
