The French Laundry is one of the few places I've been that is totally worth the money, I've been twice- for the two best meals of my life. Would like to go again. I've never eaten a better meal. The food was beautiful and amazingly delicious. Even the butter was amazing (flown in from Maine, if I recall). And the bread... If you've got the money and want to blow it on exceptional food, I do feel like the FL is a great place to go. I can't imagine eating there often- it's just too intense an experience. But it IS fantastic.
