They've ported it to PPC, too. And, amazingly enough, it retained all of it's famed ease of use and plug-and-play capabilities.
You shouldn't knock Linux. Yeah, it's hard to use, but it does things that Macs just can't--at least not till Rhapsody.
In this thread I'm definitely in agreement with Alomex. Apple did a good job in its initial port to PPC, but failed to follow through. My 68040/33 at home does a lot of things faster than my 601/100 at work, and that's with both running 8.1, which is supposedly quite optimized for PPC. Scary. Yes, future versions like Allegro should fix things (I hear it will be PPC only), but it's a disaster for Apple that it took them this long. They blew their RISC lead in large part by their slow port.
