Caxton...I don't know who Jeremy Scott-Joynt is or who he works for, but that article is pure fluff. Not a thing in there except the earnings figure that has any meaning at all. eg. wireless will continue to grow in SEA, duh, Korea is CDMA, double-duh!

As for the G3 WCDMA stuff, I guess Irwin addressed that pretty directly at the meeting. Also, its still not clear to me just how much demand there will be for mobile wideband services. The more interesting question for me is what will a capacity constrained system operator in Europe do between now and 2002 (if ever) if he is presented with a viable, cheaper, alternative in the form of a cdmaOne overlay.

Its getting close to Spring training time, Caxton. How are your boys looking on paper this year? The Marlin firesale continues apace, but I'm looking forward to scoping out all those rookies that we're getting in exchange for our world champions -- yeah, right!
