Sungold Gaming International Ltd SGGNF Otc-bb Shares issued 15,806,820 Thu 12 Feb 98 News Release Mr Hans Banziger reports The company has been invited to make a formal presentation of the Richmond Downs Racetrack proposal to the Richmond City Council's committee of the whole in March 1998. The proposal has received the endorsement of both the HBPA of BC and the CTHS, BC Division. The CTHS endorsement was subsequently withdrawn in order to avoid any conflict of interest. This project is a winner. The amount of up front and behind the scenes work that has gone into bringing this proposal together over the last eight months is staggering. Just ask Don Harris whose TAC Investments Inc. will be putting up $24 million US when the project is approved by the B.C. gov't. Has anyone seen the proposal brochure? Colour. Glossy. Detailed. Race-track and grandstand architectural plans by Ewing, Cole, Cherry, Brott (designers of the world class cutting edge Singapore Turf Club, to be opened in March). Gaming design by Jeter, Cook, Jepson (designers of Foxwood, the world's largest gaming facility). Beautiful - especially because the designs minimize the impact of the buildings, and retain the agricultural nature of horse racing. (PS. that 3 3/8 - 3 7/8 quote was what the broker gave me when he phoned through at 4:00 EST today, I don't understand the error)
