My point was that the government (CDC, NIH, state health boards, Biden, etc.) stated that if you are vaxed, you will NOT get Covid. And you will NOT transmit Covid. As time and experience has shown, this was clearly DISINFORMATION. It can be excused to some extent because it was early in the vax cycle and people were ignorant about what the vax could and couldn't do. But it was historically irresponsible for trusted institutions to declare such bad information to the public.
