Tough to say. If liquidity is up from Japan and China as evidenced by stocks, crypto etc and inflation is echoing, then metals could stay strong. On the other hand, metals tend to drop after the Chinese new year.
Metals have been strong but I just finished running charts and I'm still seeing what I commented on before. Anything that was strong last year is weak now and vice versa. Metals, drugs, staples, UTEs were strong but weak now or at least look ready to roll over.
Only thing I'm liking still is value. SPYV and MDY are near highs and still look strong.
I'm thinking SPX is going to try and fill the gap around 4230 before topping depending on the big tech earnings tomorrow night.
