The problem with data on old memory cards. How do you get your memory card ready for sale? Format it? Erase it?

Don't work, with recovery software you can recover all sorts of media like videos, photos etc,

I bought some used CF cards when those type of cameras were popular. I also had a copy of Lexar Recover software, it was free,its on my old ThinkPad Win XP.

Here are 95 photos from a purchased used card, the only way to get rid of data is to destroy it. If there is nothing personal on your card sell them, but if you we taking pics with the wife on Valentines Day those will be on the card for some time.
