Did everyone quit watching movies? Not me, I'm still renting all I can get my hands on. Brassed Off- really good Career Girls- really weird. Great character study/slice of life of two very dysfunctional college pals Wedding Bell Blues- cute fluff Lovelife-excellent J.I. Jane- exactly what you would expect. Adequate entertainment. Event Horizon- too gruesome for me For Roseanna- wonderful. A perfect movie. Excess Baggage-good, but not great. Pillow Book- another incomprehensible movie from the man (Peter Greenaway) who brought us The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover and Prospero's Books. Some of the images are beautiful but imo the movie sucks.
