I think it'll be closer to 300. Germany alone is donating 14 Leopard II tanks and the 80 or 90 refurbished Leopard I tanks. Multiple other European countries are sending Leopard II tanks. Britain is sending 14 Challenger 2 tanks and the US is sending 31 of our most sophisticated Abrams M1A2 tanks. France is sending light tanks.

I also think the numbers might be understated on purpose, and the allies aim to send more. Enough to surprise an confuse the Russians.

I think the Ukrainians are motivated and clever enough to use the various strengths of each tactically so as to maximize their effectiveness and minimize losses. Considering they've stopped a much more powerful invader so far... with much less... those poor conscripted Russians are in for hell on earth. I can see the conscripts surrendering if given the chance and fragging unpopular officers when possible. If you think you're gonna die anyway, you might just take out the sociopath who's ordering you into a suicide mission. Might even get away with it.

Captured prisoners say Wagner forces them into frontal assault over piles of bodies and executes any who refuse to move forward.
