Wow thanks will forward. Will probably stick with usual wood frame though. Have designed built several cabins, guest homes in Alaska. One for parents here in Oregon 2017 latest. Was contractor in Anchorage area 35yrs. Began as framing.... 2012 $12 mil project addition for this guy's wife.. : ) Though it was more of framing with 8-10 employees. I designed, engineered many areas. Guessing saved the general/owner few hundred k. My usual impressing everyone..ha ha.... exterior wraparound (Ipi hardwood) deck at time cost was 350k. Master BR timber frame we installed similar... 2015 a cabin on Nancy Lake, next door to Gov Walker, several miles from Palin.. lol. 1000 or 2 other projects, specs, generaled, 50% commercial/cost plus...and here I sit... Dad's need help too, he's 91.
