20km above Taiwan is 1 China Air space. But there's disagreement about who is in charge of all China's airspace.

The Taiwan government says they are in charge of airspace from south Korea to the Gobi desert, to India, across past Burma and Vietnam to Hainan. The Beijing bosses say they are in charge of airspace from North Korea across past Russia, Mongolia and the Gobi desert to Pakistan, Myanmar and out to the Spratly Islands.

There is some overlap.

To ensure good air traffic control, I recommend agreement.

Because the air blows everywhere, I think I should be in charge of any pollution. Because aircraft fall down onto heads, I think local yokels should be in charge of flying and floating objects.

I recommend a nuclear war as has been started in Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia, Poland, Romania, the Baltic and Black seas, with Norway ready with Yank tanks to Murmansk.

Because of dense population in China and Taiwan, 1 gigaton could reduce the number of disagreements by about 1 billion people.

The remaining 300 million might find life difficult with only 10 or 20 million able to survive. Agreement might be easier then = is Beijing the boss or is Taipei in charge?

If you can't beat them, join them.
