Demagoging the opposing party on an issue that is going to need bipartisan and painful choices in order to fix is political pandering and stupidity at its worst. Both trust funds are well on their way to going bust and the longer that dealing with it is put off, the more painful the "solutions" will be.

You'll probably croak before the funds are exhausted, so no problem for you. You and others who are continually yowling about a so called "climate crisis" need to refocus on what's a real and imminent funding crisis for programs that are keeping millions of our poorest citizens alive. Ignoring it is no longer an option. Period..
