So we agree that the cap on SS taxes should be removed?
Why? That's a substantial tax increase on all income above $160K, specifically 12.5 percentage points.

The top tax rate is already 35%, yet you want to increase that to 47.5%.

It will punish people who are high-income professionals, but it still won't do anything to Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos given that their wealth is all based on long-term capital gains.
