Amazingly enough, I have to heap praise on a US TV network show, the new Fox production "The Accused" that has run three episodes so far. I don't know how it was greenlighted for a network. It is far too deep, slow, and subtle to fit the current Hollywood TV mold. Great acting and slow-burning plots complete the scene. Each week is different in this anthology series. Someone is on trial or accused of a crime then the story is told through flashbacks, usually involving painful family relationships and conflicts. Not an Agatha Christie whodunit. Next episode runs Feb. 14 with 15 total, according to IMDB. Worth a look.
