... totally! I think 'they' term the vector Globalisation 2.0, and seems to be okay. Listened to that video whilst walking yesterday. It made some good points.

Observation, on our flight to Koh Samui transiting Bangkok, about 75-80% of the tourists were Russians, unusual in 'normal’ years, but understandable as China barely limbered up post Covid-zero protocol and the Chinese Lunar New Year celebration tourists were mostly in-country.

Koh Samui economy got hit hard since 2020 Covid-get-go. Visibly recovering. A lot of repairs because maintenance postponed when revenue went to zero.
