Full disclosure - Zelensky would probably give his right arm, or the left one or whatever to get the United States into a direct war with Russia. Which makes him my personal enemy. That said, I think the guy was fooled into this war. Last year, in March, when he proposed to Russia a settlement with no nato and along the lines of the Minsk accord - he explained - “No one is coming to help us”. Sounded like he was given the impression that the moment Russia invades, all of Nato would be fighting against them in Ukraine, shoulder to shoulder. It seems, was lied to. This explains some of his arrogance. He’s desperate. He “knows” that the West owes him. His new “brothers” made him into a provider of inexpensive soldiers. ——— Edit — are we still under the moderator’s request to keep Ukr posts limited? If so, I think we should.
