Serious question here. This is the "Politics for Pros" board. The conflict in Ukraine is the number one political topic in the world right now. It affects everything from elections in the Western world to long standing alliances to economics, trade relations, food supplies, religion. It covers the gamut.

It is the 800 lb GORILLA on a rampage through the middle of the room. How can anyone who has a bent towards an interest in political topics ignore it?

We will be reduced to talking about yodeling.
