Not everything is driven by demographics in such a way that would mean less is bad and more is better.

For example ... Under the circumstances of less Chinese in China should make China's deplorable crime situation much more manageable than is now, and

even better, less Chinese (in China) would mean even less Chinese to perish by action of ruling party mishandling of pandemic. Good that now asymptomatic Omicron has burned through the population without too much damage and businesses are open, restaurants buzzing, factories humming, etc etc

One might choose to doubt China numbers, but HK numbers are good, following essentially the same astute and agile / best-science-based protocol 2020 - 2023
