"ps: As a side note, Schmidt has missed two out of three earnings so far. Missed signigicantly if I remember correctly. He can't miss this one, but then again I think he gave himself a lot of leway. Not sure what the street is looking for."

Hi Steve,

The first one was a setup (welcome aboard gift from Marengi).
The second one, he tried, but I guess Tolonen gave him "misleading" numbers....it takes a while to learn the game, Dr. is a rookie CEO.
The third one, Oh yes....Dr. is learning the game pretty quick, beats estimates 100% and manages expectations for the next qtr.

My instict says Tolonen was given an ultimatum (Numbers or your ass)...his job is on the line....when the pressure is off accountants can do magic...and we all know how "quick" those auditors can be<g>

I still don't understand why Tolonen is still there....but if he keeps coming up with nice numbers I guess he may get a bonus and a few extra stock options.

Anything is possible in this world.....even USA beating Brazil in soccer!

Adios
