Wharfie,
OPEC predicts Russian oil production will decline by about 1 million barrels per day in 2023.
That's significant and shows that the price cap is working. In fact, it's working better than I expected, FWIW.

I thought RuZZia would still be able to sell everything they could produce. All they'd have to do is continue selling at a discount, and they will always be able to find buyers like China, India, Africa, etc.

Turns out that's a LOT tougher than it sounds because of what basically amounts to logistics, supply chain issues, etc. In other words, RuZZia wasn't prepared for the change in customers.

We'll see just how much this affects the RuZZian economy. Probably not much in the short term, but long-term RuZZia is in trouble.

Maaaaybe they can somehow build the pipelines and the naval supply routes to those nations that are willing to buy oil on the cheap. I'm sure they could, if they weren't so distracted by PooTin's war of choice.
